Cracked Skull & Concussion

On saturday night, August 11th, I was on my way home from Seattle with some friends when I get a phone call from Jason saying that Hunter fell playing kickball and hit his head super hard. He wouldn't stop crying and he couldn't remember what had happened to him even though Jason had reminded him about 10 times. So we decided it would be best for Jason to call 911 and have them come check him out. When they got there they said his vitals were good but he should definitely go to the hospital. So we divided the kids between neighbors and my mom and Jason and Hunter headed to come pick me up on the way to the hospital. He ended up throwing up twice at that night and they did a CT Scan to confirm that he had fractured his skull but there was no bleeding...... thank goodness. We ended up staying in the hospital for 2.5 days until he could stop throwing up. The hardest part was definitely trying to keep him from being a little boy while his head was healing.

Hunter turns 7!!!

I am not sure how this happened so fast. I feel like he should still be little and now he is a young man. He is a determined little boy. I he puts his mind to something he will do it. He is always smiling and so full of life. He is full of energy and always moving. He is loving and caring and I love him to pieces.

Levi and the neighbor girl Miley are 4 months apart and have been best friends since Levi was born!!! They are constantly fighting and then loving on each other and are always getting into trouble together. I just love watching them play!!!

Christmas!!

This year the boys had a good Christmas. Colton & Hunter each got a new 3DS and some games, and Levi got a train table and a rocking Elmo!!! They may not have been good every day but Santa thought they were pretty good to get the presents they wanted!!! Lets be honest they are just too cute to not get them what they want on Christmas!!!

Levi was deathly afraid of the Santa Clause at Brandon and Ashley's house that paints a doll. I don't understand why, but it was rather funny!!! He kept saying "No Mommy, scary Santa" then he would look at the Santa and wave his arms and say "go away Santa, go away!!!!"

Levi is obsessed with Mickey Mouse!!! It is the only thing that will keep him occupied for a few minutes!!! So of course I had to get him a Mickey hat!!! I had it made from a local lady and she has some super cute stuff in her store!!! I took him to the grocery store today and I got stopped by everyone saying how cute he was in his hat!!!

My baby turned 7!

I know I am just as shocked as you are, I have a 7 year old!!! It's hard to believe that 7 years ago I was blessed with this cute charming little boy!! He is a delight, he does really well in school, has a ton of friends, and his brothers all look up to him! He is sweet, sensitive and a pistol all rolled into one! He loves riding his bike and enduring in new adventures!!! He gets that from his daddy! Colton Jason we are so blessed to have you in our lives!!!

Grandma Morgan's 80th Birthday/ Family Reunion

My Grandma turned 80 this year and for her birthday she wanted a Family Reunion! It was so nice to see everyone, but I wish we had a few more days to talk to everyone since our family is so big!!!

Tooth Fairy!!

It all started with a routine trip to the dentist, Colton was sitting in the chair and the hygenist says you have a loose tooth!!!! She told him to wiggle it everyday and that is what he has done since she said so!!! He has been so excited to loose a tooth ever since his friends started loosing teeth when he was in kindergarten!! He finally lost his tooth last night and has been thrilled ever since!!!

Levi's Surgery!!!

So Levi had a hydrocele (Accumulation of fluid in the coat around the testis. Small hydroceles tend to disappear by a year of age while larger hydroceles may persist and warrant surgery.) which we noticed at an early age, and at the age of 17 months had not gone away. So we took him to a specialist in Seattle and she informed us that we should probably get it fixed. So on March 8th, 2011 we took our baby boy in for his first surgery :( We were so nervous going into this, but Levi's only worry was where's my cracker?!!

Valentine's Day!!

Well I have to admit that I am not a big fan of Valentine's Day. I feel like it puts too much expectations on everyone involved.  Jason and I have been apart for the last 3 Valentine's Days including this one. This time we didn't even get to talk to each other, but that is ok because we know how much we love each other.  He was however really sweet this year despite the fact that there is distance and no phone usage. He had flowers sent to me that are absolutely beautiful!!! I may not have had him to celebrate with this year, but I did have my 3 other valentines!!!!!

Little Levi

Well Levi is not so little anymore, not that he ever was!  He is so full of personality.  He loves to make people laugh.  Right now he is in the stage of life where fake laughing is funny and he does it constantly, he also thinks its great to run away from mommy when she wants him. He loves cars and trucks and anything his brothers have. One day he decided he wanted to go outside, so I bundled him up and sent him to the backyard to play by himself.  He LOVED it.  He thought he was one of the BIG boys. I would occasionally go out and ask him if he wanted to come in and he would reply with a great big NO!!!!!  I have lost my baby and gained yet again a BIG BOY!!!!

So my husband got me an early birthday present... it's a Canon Rebel T2i and I am in LOVE!!!! It is an amazing camera and finally I will be able to take great pictures of my family!!!! I have no idea what I am doing, but thats the beauty of this camera the auto setting is amazing until I can figure out how to get creative with the other settings. Thanks Jason for my new camera your the BEST!!!!!!
